Oh another good movie weekend. I have been waiting for this one to come out. The previews for it caught my attention!
I went to see “The Way Way Back” this past Friday night. I LOVED it. It is funny, sweet, sad and exciting all at the same time. Plus you get to see Steve Carell in a whole new light.
Plot: 14-year-old Duncan’s summer vacation with his mother, her overbearing boyfriend, and his daughter. Having a rough time fitting in, Duncan finds an unexpected friend in Owen, manager of the Water Wizz water park.
Starring: Steve Carell, Toni Collette, Allison Janney, AnnaSophia Robb, Sam Rockwell, Maya Rudolph, Amanda Peet and Liam James.
PLEASE go support this movie! You will not be sorry.

As always, let me know what you think.
I hope you all had a good weekend! It always goes so fast.
I saw a good movie this weekend. So good, that I have to tell you all about it.
It is a little Indie film that premiered to great ratings at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. It was filmed in Ohio.
Plot: Joe Toy (Nick Robinson), on the verge of adolescence, finds himself increasingly frustrated by the attempts of his single father, Frank (Nick Offerman), to manage his life. Declaring his freedom once and for all, he escapes to a clearing in the woods with his best friend, Patrick (Gabriel Basso), and a strange kid named Biaggio (Moisés Arias). He announces that they are going to build a house there, free from responsibility and parents. Once their makeshift abode is finished, the three young men find themselves masters of their own destiny, alone in the woods.
This movie is funny and entertaining. The boys cast in their roles are FANTAASTIC. Patrick’s parents are amazingly funny and so awkward.
I highly recommended going to see it if it is in a theater near you. Let me know what you think!
#18 on the best 25 movies of 2013 (So Far) http://www.pastemagazine.com/blogs/lists/2013/07/the-25-best-movies-of-2013-so-far.html?p=2
I love movies. I like to go the movie theater, eat popcorn and enjoy the show! My best friend Cortney and I used to rent movies by the dozen.
I went and saw the new Jackie Robinson movie last night, 42.
It was very good. Everyone should see it. It shows what a fight it was back in 1946 for Jackie Robinson to start with the Brooklyn Dodgers as an African American. He was going to be the 1st African American in the MLB and no one was happy about it. So thank you to Branch Rickey for changing the MLB and having confidence in Jackie Robinson.
So glad the world has changed from that time. They way they treated him was horrible and it makes me sick to watch it.
Please go see it and if you already have, let me know what you thought!
